Data collected from the preterm born during neonatal care from birth until discharge and from the mother during pregnancy and labour.

- VPT/VLBW Group Inclusion Criteria
- Birth weight < 1500g and gestational age < 37 weeks admitted to NICU during first 24 hours of life
- Control Group Inclusion Criteria
- No control group for perinatal cohort
- VPT/VLBW Group Exclusion Criteria
- Missing parental consent, transfer to NICU > 24 hours after birth
- Control Group Exclusion Criteria
- No control group for perinatal cohort
